Beaver Creek Township Election Commission to be held Electronically

Please take notice that a special meeting of the Beaver Creek Township Election Commission will be held on, Tuesday, September 29, 2020 @ 9:45am by electronic remote access.

The purpose of the meeting is to appoint election workers for the November General Election.

Thursday, September 24th. Beaver Creek Township has not yet received ballots for the November election. We hope to have them soon but it may be around the 1st of October. We will be mailing them as soon as they are processed.

TO: The residents and property owners of Beaver Creek Township, Crawford County, Michigan and any other interested parties.
Please take noitce that a speical meeting of the Beaver Creek Township Board will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10:00 am by electronic remote access. 

The purpose of the meeting is to approve hiring of a new cleaning person.

Electronic remote access, in accordance with the Michigan Gvoernor's Executive Ordre 2020-154, will be implemented. Executive Order 2020-154 allows public bodies subject to the Open Meetings Act, including boards, commissions, committees, subcommittees, authorities, councils, nonprofit boards, to use telephone-video-conferencing methods to continue meeting and conducting business during the COVID-19 public health crises, so long as they follow certain procedures to ensure meaningful access and participation by members of the public body and general public. Members of the public will only be able to speak during the public comment portion of the meeting and such comment will be limited to three minutes per person. To provide for orderly public participation, a person wishing to speak must state theri name and request to be recognized by the supervisor. The supervisor will recognize all persons wishing to speak during public comment. If, prior to the meeting, members of the public have certain question or wish to provide input on any business that will be addressed at the meeting then such persons may contact the Clerk by email:

Beginning June 10,2020 under phase 5, indoor social gatherings and events up to 10 people are permissible. Outdoor social gatherings and events are premitted so long as people maintain six feet of distance from one another and the assemblage consists of no more than 250 people. In addition, outdoor performance and sporting venues will be open with a larger capacity limit of 500, which will allow for some outdoor graduation ceremonies.
