NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING.  May 14, 2013 @ 7:30 during the regular township board meeting. Consideration of Request for Industrial Tax Exemption for Weyerhaeuser NR Company, Grayling Michigan.  The purpose of the public hearing shall be consideration by the Township Board of a request by Weyerhaeuser for approval of an application for IFT Exemption Certificate on a proposed 3.6 mil project at the company's oriented strand board mill.

CLEAN-UP DAY will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Beaver Creek Transfer Site 7:00 am - 11:00 am.  This also the day of the Crawford County Haz/Mat Clean-Up Day 9:00 am - 2 pm to be held at the County Court House Parking Lot.

1.) The March 2013BOARD OF REVIEW is set to meet Monday, March 11, 2013, 9 am - 12 noon; and 1 pm - 4 pm. Thursday, March 14, 2013, 1 pm - 4 pm; and 6 pm - 9 pm. Hearing appeals of valuation for assessments, uncappings, classification appeals of property and such. No appointments are necessary.

2.) JULY 2013BOARD OF REVIEW

SET FOR JULY 15, 2013 - 12 NOON AT BCT OFFICES.

PURPOSE: CORRECTION OF CLERICAL ERRORS, MUTUAL MISTAKES IN FACT, PRINCIPLE RESIDENCE EXEMPTIONS - MOSTLY.

BCT'S 2012 CEMETERY CLEAN UP DAY - WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW THE 2013 DATE AS SOON AS THE BOARD MAKES THAT DECISION.

Dog/Cat licenses

 Are available here at the township office, beginning November 1st through the end of February yearly. Fees: spayed/neutered $8, without spayed/neutered $15. After March 1st, you must go to the County Offices. Please bring proof that your animal is spayed or neutered & a copy of your animal's rabies certificate; they must be presented to get a license.

For Applications made on or after MARCH 1ST, the fee is $25 & only available at the Crawford County Offices located in downtown Grayling at the Courthouse.
